Humble Bundle is an initiative to raise money for indie game developers as well as charity by letting you, the gamer, decide how much you want to spend on the game bundle. Now, in its fifth installment, the Humble Indie Bundle V packs in five extremely popular indie games and lets you decide how much you want to pay for it. This latest pack includes games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, LIMBO, Psychonauts, Bastion and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. If you buy these games separately through Steam or anywhere else, it would cost you around $110 but Humble Bundle leaves the final price up to you. The best part is that once you buy this, all the games are available on all the major platforms like PC, Mac and Linux. We highly recommend you support indie game developers as these are some of the most creative and imaginative games out there but because they don’t have big publishers like EA backing them, many of them go unnoticed.

You start off by heading to the website here and selecting how much you wish to pay. You can either select a preset amount or enter a custom amount. The next step allows you to choose how your money is spent. You can decide how much money goes to the developers, how much you wish to give to Child’s Play Charity or the Electronics Frontier Foundation. You can even donate a small amount (or large) to Humble Bundle as well. Finally simply choose your method of payment either through PayPal, Amazon Payments or Google Checkout. The latest game bundle has been very well received within the community raising a whopping $1 million in just five hours. All games that are purchased through Humble Bundle are DRM free and if you pay more than the average amount, you also get a free game as well.
